# How To Stake ABOND To Tier Staking
Follow the steps below to stake ABOND or oABOND to earn $USDT and the Ape Tiers through the [**Tier Staking**](https://ape.bond/tier-staking) page:
1\) Connect your EVM wallet to ApeBond (for instructions, visit the [**How to Connect Your Wallet**](/apebond/products-and-features/wallets/how-to-connect-your-wallet.md) page).
2\) Click "[**True Yield**](https://www.ape.bond/true-yield)**"** on the nav bar.
3\) Click "**Create Position +**"
4\) Input the amount of ABOND you wish to lock to earn USDT, then choose your lock time.\
Your Ape Points decrease over time if your lock is not maintained, so we recommend using Permalock to prevent point decay or enabling “Maintain lock time automatically” to keep your position active.

If it's your first time staking ABOND, you must first authorize the token contract in your wallet. Do this by clicking the "Enable" button, then proceed with the stake process.

5\) Check the details to ensure the values are accurate, and click “**APPROVE**”.
6\) Done! You can now start earning $USDT and unlocking exclusive benefits and utilities based on your Ape Tier!
7\) Scroll up to check your Ape Tier. Improve your Ape Tier by creating more positions and claim your rewards every week.

Once the lock period has concluded, you will be able to withdraw your original amount of ABOND you staked.
