The Welcome Bonus is a one-time ApeBoost feature designed to give selected wallets a first taste of the ApeBond tier system.

When the Welcome Bonus applies, a wallet can receive a free Mythical Tier boost on its first eligible Bond purchase. This means the user gets to experience the highest Ape Tier benefits during that purchase, including the maximum extra Bond discount available through the tier system.
